Business Analyst – PI Vision Upgrade
5-Month Contract | Brisbane | Competitive Daily Rate
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support a strategic upgrade of a PI Vision platform. This role will be key in bridging business needs with technical delivery, ensuring the successful implementation of the upgraded environment.

You will work closely with stakeholders across operations, engineering, and IT to gather requirements, analyse existing dashboards and data flows, and support configuration, testing, and rollout activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather and document business requirements for PI Vision usage and reporting.
  • Analyse dashboards, data flows, and user interactions to identify improvements.
  • Support upgrade planning, execution, testing, validation, and change management.
  • Translate business needs into accurate system configurations with technical teams.
  • Facilitate workshops, training, and stakeholder communications.
  • Prepare user guides, documentation, and post-implementation materials.

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst in operational technology or energy/utilities.
  • Strong knowledge of PI Vision, PI System, or related data visualisation tools.
  • Experience with system upgrades in asset-intensive or industrial environments.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Ability to explain technical concepts in clear business language.
  • Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies.
