**ABOUT THE POSITION.**
As an Asset Information Officer based in South Western Sydney, you will be responsible for collecting asset inventory and condition data including identifying, locating, classifying and recording all attributes of asset for roads, bridges, footpaths, stormwater, buildings, public spaces, kerb and gutter and all other infrastructure assets.

**DUTIES.**
- Update Council's Asset Management System with inventory information by creating and updating assets in MapInfo
- Assist in preparing technical specifications for assets investigation, maintenance and rehabilitation works
- Responsible for collecting asset inventory and condition data including identifying and recording all attributes of assets for roads, bridges, footpaths, buildings etc
- Assist with new asset data capture and mapping including on-site inspections as required

**SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE.**
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Asset Management or relevant qualifications
- 2 years experience in a similar role is highly desirable
- Highly proficient in Conquest and MapInfo
- High level of attention to detail and strong written and verbal communication skills
