**UX Designer | 6-month contract | VIC Govt | Melbourne**

**Overview**

Talent Street is looking for a UX Designer for an ASAP start on a 6-month contract to join one of our Victorian government clients. You** **will be responsible for conceiving and conducting research and facilitating workshops and translating insights into user flows, customer journey maps, wireframes and prototypes. A strong understanding of design thinking, CX lean start-up tools and methodologies and how to use them on various projects is required.

**Experience and skills required**:

- 4+ years UI/UX design experience for digital products or services.
- Proven ability leveraging analytical and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong presentation, communication (written and verbal) skills, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to juggle and prioritize multiple tasks within a collaborative team environment.
- Well-developed conceptual and analytical skills and the proven use of initiative in solving problems, including knowledge and experience in defining, implementing, and enhancing business process.
- Experience working in the project ideation and discovery phase.
- Ability to review and analyse the business in terms of its business services, business processes, and to assist the business in identifying the best ways to effect business change to achieve business goals.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team, including taking initiative, providing regular updates on your work, seeking and providing support as required.
