Play a pivotal role in shaping the digital voice of WorkbenchX - a start-up that's making a real difference in sustainability - as their UX/UI Designer

**_This is a part-time contract role approximately 16-20 hours per week, and is totally remote optional anywhere in OZ (or you can work from their Brisbane/Perth office). _**The initial contract is for 3 months with potential for extension/full time employment.

**About WorkbenchX**
WorkbenchX is a supply chain platform for the circular economy that closes the loop for industrial equipment and components. This innovative network platform acts as a bridge connecting original equipment manufacturers, equipment users, and service providers. Its primary goal is to make it easy to identify high-value circular loops of reuse, refurbishment, remanufacture, and recycling to retain maximum value and minimize waste of embedded energy.

**About The Job**
We’re looking to find a mid-level UX/UI person to focus on their platform usability and accessibility. This role is 70% UX and 30% UI focused and will predominantly involve working with their product development and engineering team to establish their workflow and user journey design for their MVP. From there, you will also be involved working with sales/marketing divisions with A/B testing and work on enhancing their digital presence.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop and enhance the information architecture of the platform
- Wireframing and Prototyping
- Craft visually appealing, user-centric interfaces that align with our brand identity and deliver an exceptional user experience
- Usability Testing and User Research to inform design strategies
- Contribute to the development and upkeep of design systems and style guides to maintain design consistency throughout the platform
- Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders

**About You**
- Bachelor's degree in UI/UX design, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- A portfolio showcasing your UI/UX design work and problem-solving abilities
- 4+ years of professional experience in UI/UX design
- Proficiency in industry-standard design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar
- Strong grasp of user-centered design principles, usability, and accessibility standards
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
- Familiarity with front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is advantageous.
