We are looking to hire a **UX Designer** to support UX design for Student Placement initiatives and/or IELTS initiatives and our portfolio/products to reflect our business priorities.

We have an exciting opportunity for a UX Designer to support the design, development, and iteration of digital UX output to support IDP Events - encompassing Client, Counsellor and Student digital tools and experiences. The role will collaborate with product and global UX teams, to deliver usable and accessible UI designs and work with development teams through to successful implementation.

This is a **full time Permanent** position based out of our corporate office at **Melbourne.**

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

**Product Design and Delivery**Work on, and sometimes lead the creation, on the evaluation and iteration of user experience and user interface designs for digital products, including but not limited to initiatives and projects to support Idp web and app.Work with the UX Design Lead and Product Owner on design sprints as needed, to progress Events work.Prioritise and elicit feedback from users and incorporate into design.Translate business needs, research and insights into concepts that are value-adding, simple, and functionally effective.Collaborate with Product Owners to design and deliver wireframes and mock-ups, optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces.Work with Product Owners and development teams through to deliveryIterate with used patterns and adopt brand and style guides for digital products.

**Collaboration and global design community**
- Work with other designers around the world to collaborate and manage the quality of output informally and in formal community meetings.
- Build positive and effective relationships across all levels and functions of the organisation to deliver required results
- Contribute to building a positive work environment within the team based on a shared commitment to IDP’s values and quality.

**Analytics measuring ROI**
- Make effective use of analytics to evaluate effectiveness of the content produced
- Use recordings on Hotjar and UX Cam to understand how your output can be improved

**WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR**

Essential Skills
- A degree or equivalent professional experience specialising or majoring in design, digital media, HCI, or related field.
- At minimum 2 years’ experience in multimedia production
- Passionate about exemplary user experience and staying up-to-date with digital design standards and trends
- Familiar with user-centred design, human-centred design and/or design thinking practices and techniques
- Comfortable with prototyping and iterative development of concepts
- Excellent skills in Adobe CC (Adobe XD, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.) or equivalent
- Working knowledge of HTML/CSS
- Excellent skills in Figma, and bonus for skills in Adobe CC (Adobe XD, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of colour theory, typography, layout design, and the web design process
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to communicate ideas, changes and progress across various stakeholders and projects

Good to have
- Experience in working in dynamic global environment
- Online portfolio of video and/or design work showing solutions to business objectives
- Involvement in live streaming, podcasting, web communities and/or social media communities
