**Job Overview**:
We are seeking an enthusiastic sales professional to sell booths and space in our events that loves to challenge themselves to hit targets. The role is predominantly phone based, however, we encourage face to face visits of key clients and attendance at various exhibitions within our portfolio. We are looking for Account Managers for both Craft events, and Gift & Jewellery Trade Events.

Expertise Events is the leading Australian, family owned and managed exhibition and event organiser. Expertise organises more than 30 trade and consumer events in Australia each year. With 30 years of successful events we pride ourselves on delivering an experience like no other. Our events include Oz Comic-Con, Craft & Quilt Fairs, the International Jewellery Fair, Gift & Lifestyle Trade Fairs and more.

**Responsibilities and Duties Include**:

- Manage the prospective exhibitor database in the CRM, keeping all contact, product and diary data up to date.
- Will have a professional phone manner as the role is primary telesales - however, they will also be capable of face-to-face engagement and sales trips as required.
- Contact prospective clients to assess interest and suitability for exhibiting - most of these clients are existing in the database but an amount of lead generation is involved.
- Competent in identifying concerns, needs and opportunities that current and potential clients present to grow company revenue.
- Making phone calls is a critical function of the role and forms one of the basic
- Assist the marketing and leadership teams in identifying strategies or opportunities relevant to the market and events.
- Assist with other tasks as requested.

**The successful applicant will**:

- Possess 3+ years’ experience in a similar role is required. Experience in events preferred but not required.
- Have a demonstrated ability to build and foster client relationships.
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Deliver a team focused mentality, and an outgoing personality
- Speak fluent English and be a permanent resident.

**Key Information**:

- Full-Time Permanent Position.
- Salary paid on experience.
- Role is based at our Frenchs Forest office in Sydney’s Northern Beaches, there is onsite parking.
- Opportunities to attend events may be offered occasionally.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 7.5 per week

**Salary**: $54,744.00 - $85,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
