Our company is currently undergoing expansion and we are looking to on board a casual
admin assistant to help us in the office. We are a family run business and looking for
someone who wants to gain experience and build with us. University/High school
students are welcome and encouraged to apply. Would suit a student and/or those that are experienced in accountancy, business, law, but only need part time hours, approx 20-30 hours per week.
Main Duties/Roles but not bound to:
- Creating spreadsheets.
- Keeping records
- Organising files and documents
- Managing orders
- Scanning/photocopying
- Basic housekeeping (emptying rubbish, checking mail etc.)
- Other duties as required, that are considered reasonable and appropriate for an administrative assistant position
The applicant must have the following attributes.
- Great communication skills
- Have excellent interpersonal skills (including clear communication; assertiveness and an ability to relate to a diverse range of clients in a respectful and caring manner)
- Ability to complete data entry with an eye for detail.
- Ability to work with Excel/Word/Accounting software
- Reliable and punctual.
- Work with the director on day-to-day tasks.
- Ability to work on their own however, be able to seek support and guidance when needed
- Have excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
