**Job Description**:
This role is tasked with planning, managing and implementing the annual customer event for Nearmap, Nearmap NAVIG8. This is a corporate hybrid event taking place in all countries that Nearmap operates in.
- Nearmap NAVIG8 is open to customers and prospects. Its purpose is to celebrate Nearmap technology and the community of customers & partners who use it every day to create better outcomes for their business and their world._
- Planning, managing and implementing the plan for the event.
- Creating project timelines and working back plans in partnership with Content, Digital and Event partner and operations team.
- Researching and securing venue and digital platform.
- Negotiating quotes and agreements with vendors.
- Assisting with event marketing, monitoring timeframes and budgets, networking, and delivering on event objectives.
- Finding speakers, instructors and panellists to be involved in the events, and working with them and the Content team on their presentations, including assets
- Managing the Events Agency.
- Working with the Internal Comms team to drive awareness and participation of the event with staff.
- Building the promotional plan to drive registrations.
- Running the event on the day.
- Creating the post analysis report after the event including recommendations for the following year.

**Qualifications**:

- Experience working and managing events.
- Marketing and/or branding experience
- Knowledge managing teams of contractors.
- Experience establishing partnerships
- Exposure to SalesForce
- Knowledge of B2B, SaaS and/technology
- Organised and proactive
- A quick learner, self-motivated, ambitious, and detail-oriented
- Confidence to operate in a quickly changing environment
- Positive can-do attitude
- Marketing, Communications, or Events qualifications
