**Description**:
We have an amazing opportunity for a QA / Warehouse Operator to join the team. This is a dual role that will ensure that all warehouse activities and QA process are carried out to the highest standard, and in compliance with all laws/regulations.

As a warehouse operator you will ensure all activities related to the storage and handling of perishable products are carried out in a manner that does not compromise safety or quality and reduces waste.

As a Quality Assurance Operator you will ensure that the site adheres to all food safety certification processes and VQM compliance in the form of internal auditing, document control and assistance with navigating through external third-party audit assessments.

About the Role

Assist in the oversight of the site’s food safety processes and compliance to VQM manual and external certifications.
Monitor and review of documentation
Maintenance of retention samples
Internal auditing of current processes and procedures.
Coordinate external laboratory testing
Support the National QA Manager during external audits
Responsible for the pick and pack metrics
Receiving inbound products
Ensure stock is correctly rotated and in date.

**Skills and Experiences**:
Skills and Experience

Exposure and understanding of HACCP and Food Safety Management Systems
Experience in a FMCG environment, in QA role preferable
Organisational and strong communication skills.
Ability to multitask and prioritise
Strong communication skills
Knowledge and experience in dairy would be highly advantageous.
Computer literate, with an intermediate understanding of MS Word and Excel.
