**THE OPPORTUNITY**

Project Partners is a business and technology consulting firm focused on helping clients with technology strategy, investment case management and leadership of their business and technology programs. Our mission is to bridge business with technology and achieve program outcomes in a way that leaves our clients more confident, secure and capable than before.

In support of our growing business, the Resource Manager will be focused on providing companywide leadership and coordination of human capital and capability as well as leadership on all matters related to consultant resource acquisition, forecasting, allocation, optimisation and reporting.

**KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES**
- Providing a companywide view of resource availability, capacity and deployability along with inputs to workforce management processes for the business.
- Driving optimum resource allocation for upcoming and current Project Partners engagements, including mediating resource management decisions requiring negotiation between directors.
- Ensuring consultants maintain personal professional information that is directly relevant to Resource Management practices and processes (CVs, Profiles).
- As a member of the management team, contributing to ‘consultant care’ activities including recommendations related to EAP support and participation in incident response activity.
- As a member of the Project Partners management team, contributing to development of the organisation’s strategy, business plans and cultural development.
- As a member of the management team, supporting Project Partners internal business improvement activities to improve performance and profitability.

**WHAT IT TAKES**
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in the IT Professional Services sector, having succeeded in leadership roles in workforce planning, recruitment and resource management.
- High developed analytical capability and a sound understanding of the technology professional services sector, industry demands and resource management trends.
- Strong ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with business stakeholders and staff at all levels.
- Sound organisational skills coupled with an aptitude for effective planning to ensure a managed and targeted approach to talent and resource management.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to facilitate engagement among a highly educated professional workforce.
