**Job Description**:
- Drive all cross-functional activities and collaborate with key stakeholders on all aspects of execution.
- Control a portfolio of initiatives that span one or multiple lines of business.
- Full project life cycle ownership: successful project delivery will include full implementation from initiation to deployment for one major or several minor initiatives simultaneously.
- Develop, coordinate and manage all aspects of project and program engagement from planning, external vendor relationships, communications, resources, budget, change, risks and issues.
- Provide status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverable, dependencies, risks and issues, communicating across leadership.
- Work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellence.
- Participate in establishing practices, templates, policies, tools and partnerships to expand and mature these capabilities for the organization.
- Prepare estimates and detailed project plan for all phases of the project.
- Work with key stakeholders in the assistance and coordination with regards to dispute, negotiation, arbitration or litigation as the project may require.
- Monitor, track and control outcomes to resolve issues, conflicts, dependencies and critical path deliverables.
- Deliver appropriate and effective communications in conjunction with key stakeholders.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers as needed in conjunction with key stakeholders.
- Assist with the production and engineering team with quality and procurement duties as directed.
**Qualifications**:
**Essential**
- Minimum of 5+ years working on complex design and production projects in engineered-to-order environments, preferably with a large manufacturing component.
- Strong diplomatic and motivational skills including the ability to lead up, across and down multiple business and technology organizations.
- Build and maintain relationships by engagement, establishing credibility, solving problems, building consensus and achieving objectives.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Self-motivated, decisive, with the ability to adapt to change and competing demands.
- Proficiency with project management methodologies and advanced computer skills, in particular MS Project and excel.
- Well-developed business analysis skills including opportunity and risk management.
- Class C Driver’s Licence
**Desired**:
- Knowledge of Rail industry.
- Primavera P6 experience.
- 4-year Technical degree required, Engineering or Business.
- PMP/PRINCE certification.
