**About Our Vacancy**

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our **Major Project team **in **Strathpine** as a **Project Initiation Officer** on a _12-month maximum term contract_. You will be joining a successful, innovative, and engaged team that works closely and efficiently. This role will see you partnering with our sales team to manage our National Major Project bidding opportunities from end to end.

We work in a fast-paced environment, so it is important that you can think on your feet, work with efficiency, and follow directions. You will have strong written communication as this role will see you writing compelling and influential proposals for our clients. You will be able to navigate our corporate process and be able to liaise with multiple key stakeholders at one time. This is a perfect opportunity if you want to grow in the project space or if you are coming from sales, estimating, or marketing in the infrastructure or construction industries.

**Skills and Experience**
- Understanding the preparation of tenders, quotes, and proposals
- First-hand experience in building strong relationships
- The ability to interpret, investigate, and articulate detailed solutions
- Basic knowledge in gathering and analysis of costing and financial data
- An understanding of civil and infrastructure industries is ideal
- The ability to support the sales team in exceeding budgets
- Confident in Outlook, Microsoft, Excel
- Adapt your priorities based on the stage of the process
- SalesForce or other CRM systems are highly regarded
- Effective Player with active listening skills
- Excellent communication skills verbal and written
- Previous sales and admin experience
- Sound commercial acumen
