Payroll Officer

We are pleased to bring this exciting opportunity to market with a growing Australian employer that manufacture innovative products that support safe work environments for the mining and construction sectors.

Reporting to the Financial Controller this role will offer you variety across the transactional accounting functions for this successful and growing business. Responsibilities will include:

- Managing the end-to-end payroll function (approx 60 employees)
- Payroll reporting
- Leasing with employees regarding payroll matters
- Ensuring the business is payroll compliant.
- Interpreting awards
- Superannuation payments
- Back up Accounts Payable
- Supporting the invoicing and AR function (not high volume)
- Assisting with end of month preparation
- Other tasks as required.

This role will suit someone who is looking to strengthen their hands on accounts experience and enjoy working in a multi skilled team.

Most important to your success in the role will be:

- Approximately 4 - 5 years' experience in Payroll related environment
- Experience with Wise payroll is a n=bonus
- A collaborative person who is an effective communicator
- Exposure to AP would be an advantage.
- A motivated and positive self-starter
