Aptella is seeking an **Apprentice Field Service Technician** to commence in **July 2025**out of our Dandenong South branch. In this hands-on, field-based role, you’ll be trained and mentored by experienced technicians as you build your skills working with some of the most advanced technology in the industry.

You’ll play a key role supporting our customers with diagnosing and repairing systems, delivering product training, and helping optimise how equipment is used in the field. You’ll be working with tools and systems used in **GIS/Mapping, GNSS, Total Stations, Machine Control**, and more. As your knowledge grows, so will your impact.

You’ll also gain experience by:

- Providing remote support through our phone support team
- Assisting with machine installations and calibrations
- Helping set up GNSS base stations and work sites

This is a fantastic opportunity to get paid while you learn, with **structured training** and support to complete a **Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology** through TAFE QLD - a must-have qualification for this role.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Support the diagnosis and repair of electronic and mechanical systems under supervision
- Assist with onsite installations, calibrations, and troubleshooting
- Set up and support GNSS base stations and site configurations
- Work alongside internal teams to resolve customer enquiries
- Contribute to phone-based customer support
- Keep accurate records of your work, repairs, and customer feedback
- Take ownership of your learning journey, including Trade School attendance
- Stay up to date with evolving products and workflows
- Follow safety procedures to protect yourself, your team, and customers
