**Description**:
About the role

We are looking for a Apprentice Service Technician to join our team in Dandenong on a permanent, full-time basis.

Based in our workshop and reporting to the Team Leader, you will be responsible for servicing and maintaining the assets of the Branch.

**In this role, you will**:

- Comply with responsibilities relating to the terms of the apprenticeship Training Contract (training, attendance and attainment of competencies)
- Under supervision, assist in carrying out mechanical inspections, servicing and repairs in accordance with manufactures and OHS requirements
- Inspect customer equipment upon return and immediately report any damages to capture/ recoup costs
- Ensure jobs are logged in our service module and all paperwork is completed daily
- Under supervision, attend breakdowns on customer sites as required
- Ensure Occupational Health and Safety requirements, Safe Operating Procedures and Safe Operating Practices are adhered to at all times.

**Ideally you will have**:

- A trade qualification - Year3/4 in AUR31220 Cert 3 in Mobile Plant Technology
- Forklift, EWP or OHS cards/licences (not essential but are highly regarded)
- Sound attention to detail and the ability to problem solve
- High learning agility
- Reliability, self-motivation & willingness to work
