**Position Overview**:
We are currently seeking a passionate and empathetic Therapy Assistant to join our team in Gold Coast. As a Therapy Assistant at KC Empowerment, you will play a crucial role in supporting our therapists and clients in various therapeutic activities. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is enthusiastic about helping others and making a positive impact in the community.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist therapists in implementing treatment plans and conducting therapy sessions for clients.
- Provide support and encouragement to clients during therapy activities, fostering a positive and empowering environment.
- Assist with the preparation and organization of therapy materials and equipment, ensuring a safe and conducive therapy environment.
- Document client progress, observations, and interactions accurately and confidentially.
- Collaborate with therapists and other team members to ensure coordinated and effective care for clients.
- Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and professional development activities to enhance skills and knowledge.

**Requirements**:

- Open Licence & Own Car
- Working With Children Check
- Disability Screening Check
- Certificate III or IV in Allied Health Assistance, or equivalent qualification, preferred but not required.
- Previous experience in a similar role or a strong desire to work in the healthcare or therapy field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and empathetic demeanor.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team, demonstrating professionalism and reliability.
- Genuine passion for helping others and making a positive impact in their lives.
