**The Role**:
Our client is a well known global hotel/hopsitality organisation on the lookout for an IT Support Officer to join on a day rate contract.

**Your Responsibilities**:

- A clear understanding of the requirements of all departments within the hotel to ensure they are given optimum support.
- A working knowledge of all systems within the hotel to guarantee support of these systems is of the highest standard.
- An ability to communicate with team members and management at all levels.
- To support and maintain all systems equally via a concise time management agenda.
- Ensure backups for all systems are performed daily and are reliable.
- Monitor and maintain storage space on the hotel server to ensure effective and efficient use of the network.
- Upgrade systems as they become available to ensure all systems are kept current and viable to the marketplace.
- An awareness of industry/system trends and their potential use to improve systems in the hotel environment.
- Ensure systems are understood by staff expFected to use them and they are being utilized correctly and effectively.
- To assist the Information Systems Manager in the operation, support and maintenance of the hotel systems

**About You**:

- Experience with Active Directory is a must
- Tertiary qualifications, or other collegiate-level degree, in IT or related field
- Strong troubleshooting skills including prioritization, escalation and ticket handling
- Strong administration and communication skills
- Proficiency, at an advanced level, with computers and computer programs, including Microsoft programs (Excel and Word)
