An exciting opportunity has become available for the services of a highly motivated and suitably qualified Events Coordinator.

The Rural City of Murray Bridge is looking for an Events Coordinator with experience in all aspects of event development and delivery.

The successful applicant will possess relevant professional qualifications, along with demonstrated relevant skills and experience in:

- Developing and implementing an Events Strategy to deliver events within the Rural City of Murray Bridge that maximise the short and long term economic and social benefits to the region.
- Ensuring a program of high profile, high-quality events is delivered annually.
- Leading and supporting a program to effectively enable the use of Council's land and other assets for events. This includes ensuring that events are successfully coordinated with council requirements, budget and all relevant legislation and regulations.
- Developing and maintain relationships, networks and partnerships with the community, government and relevant private enterprise organisations with a role in events management, delivery and funding.

Reporting directly to the Manager - Organisational Development, the position is offered as a full-time position at Level 6 in accordance with the South Australian Municipal Salaried Officers Award and Council’s current Enterprise Agreement.
