Our clients based across Adelaide and surrounding suburbs are providing world-class technology and systems solutions for the Defence and Space industries and are looking to grow their Project Management teams for a number of technical projects across underwater technology, advanced radar, combat systems, shipbuilding and other advanced systems.
Must have Australian Citizenship for security clearance purposes and able to work on-site.

**The Role**:

- Ensure and maintain safe work practices and enforce safety risk management
- Fulfil and manage contract requirements
- Meet or exceed the financial baseline requirement
- Push for growth in annual budget and maintain a high standard of performance measurement
- Support and maintain and encourage the involved team including operational and engineering team members
- Develop reports on progress and business management
- Delivery of complex technical projects from concept to production and deployment
- Manage project performance and deliver updates and progression reporting to the customer(s)
- Manage the Mechanics and Rituals for Agile projects & Lean principles

**Experience Required**:

- Minimum 3 - 5 years as a Project Manager or similar within a Technology focused or Defence environment
- Ideally experience managing medium to large scale Defence projects and project requirements either above the line or below the line
- Experience in Risk management or Risk Mitigation (highly desired)
- Tertiary or Vocational qualifications in project or business management or engineering
- knowledge and experience in Earned-Value systems, Agile / Lean and Stakeholder Management
- Australian Citizenship essential
