Short Term Temporary Opportunity within Council

**Your new company**
Your new role will be with a local council based in the Adelaide Hills, who are seeking an expert in Civil Infrastructure, Building Construction and Landscape/Streetscaping. This role is a short-term temporary contract.

**Your new role**
In the role, you will be responsible for assisting the Council’s commitment to the community by providing sound planning towards high quality infrastructure assets. The role will to be assist Project managers fulfil the scope of their responsibilities for the delivery of nominated projects.
- Assist in assessment and investigations of projects to evaluate in line with the Councils Annual Business Plan and Long-Term Financial Plan
- Participate in the implementation of infrastructure projects, from scope to construction
- Assist in coordination of nominated projects as well as procurement, change requests and post project reviews
- Contribute to the development of capital works programs
- Support in Costing and prioritization or projects
- Take part in the drafting of project process
- Ensure safe design and implementation of projects

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Working with internal and external stakeholders to undertake planning and implementation of Council plans
- Competent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution
- Excellent Time Management and organizational skills
- Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple deadlines
- Well-developed understanding of OH&S
- Knowledge of project scope and cost in civil infrastructure and building works
- Basic understanding of civil engineering design and construction for roads, storm water and traffic management
