**Your Next Employer **is a mid tier construction company who specialise in new build construction, fit-out and refurbishment of commerical projects up to $25M. They work in various sectors including retail, commercial offices, education/childcare and hospitality. They have built a great team and vibrant culture across their Brisbane and Sydney locations. They have grown a lot over their 15+ years and are now at a size where they require an internal HR Generalist.

**YOUR Role** will see you join a team with a vibrant culture who work together to deliver their projects to a high standard. Reporting directly to very supportive company Directors, your role with further enhance this very successful business by implementing a Human Resources framework across the business. This is a stand-alone role that you can really make your own.

**You will be responsible for**:

- Implementing a policy and procedure framework
- Updating position descriptions and creating KPI's across the business
- Manage the performance review process, ensuring training areas are identified and actioned
- Ensuring organisational compliance with relevant legislation
- Employee onboarding and induction process, managment of employee HRIS
- Support & advise management team with performance management and HR related issues.
- HR projects and driving key HR initiatives across the business
- Occasional travel to the Sydney office as required (day trips)

**YOUR Experience**
- Previous HR Generalist experience, preferably with 3+ years experience in a similar role, construction industry experience not required but would be highly regarded
- You will be a collaborative communicator and have the ability to buildeffective working relationships, drive engagement, motivate staff and influence culture.
- HR Degree or Diploma qualified (or equivalent experience)
- A thorough understanding of relevant legislation
- Self-motivated with a can-do attitude
