An excellent opportunity has become available for an experienced Sales / Operations Manager with established networks in the upholstery industry to join our growing team and manage the day-to-day operations of a busy and exciting Upholstery business.

**About Us**

We are a long standing reputable Upholstery business based in Western Sydney specialising in premium quality furniture restoration and reupholstery for commercial and residential clients.

**Key responsibilities**

The role is responsible for managing the end-to-end sales process and customer service delivery for the business. Specifically, the role entails;
- Managing the end-to-end sales process from lead generation to order capture
- Managing end-to-end order completion and delivery
- Delivering on service promise and ensure order requirements are delivered within agreed delivery timeframes.
- Conducting Quality Control checks and uphold Standards, Processes and Practices. Follow company procedures & policies. Keep workplace clean, safe & clear of obstacles.
- Identifying new business sales opportunities and execute - variable remuneration component is tied to this.
- Identifying and remediate issues that affect the business’ ability to meet its customer and supplier obligations.
- Contributing to improving business, process and production performance by identifying inefficiencies and poor processes and re-engineer processes to remove waste and optimize production. Where processes do not exist, design and document new processes.
- Liaising with architects, joiners, designers and other influencers to grow the brand and reach of the business

**Essential skills, experience and attitude**:
To be considered for this role you will need to;
- Have a minimum 2 years experience in commercial sales / customer service in the Upholstery, Manufacturing or a similar industry
- Have a minimum 5 years experience in commercial; upholstery, interior design or furniture sales
- A working understanding of fabrics, upholstery and furniture manufacturing
- Be a clear communicator with outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Have high attention to detail
- Have excellent organisational skills with ability to multi-task and effectively manage a fast-moving workload efficiently
- Be resilient and adaptable to change
- Be courteous and friendly and have a passion for working with people
- Be self-motivated, hardworking and be happy to work independently and as part of a team
- Be comfortable and confident using IT systems
- Have an Australian permanent residency or citizenship and current Australian driver’s licence.
- Must pass criminal background check and drug testing

**Salary expectations**

An attractive remuneration package will be available to the right person.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Flexible hours
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

**Experience**:

- Sales & Customer Service: 2 years (preferred)
- Commercial Furniture Upholstery or Manufacture: 5 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Australian driver's licence (required)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)
