We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Commercial Trading Partner, Fresh to join our Commercial Food team at Macquarie Park, (NSW).

Support the Commercial Trading Manager - Fresh by providing commercial insight and decision support across the Trading teams. Focused on Trading performance, this role will measure the achievement of KPIs, call out financial opportunities and risks and provide supporting information and analysis to enable fact-based actions for the trading teams to achieve their objectives.

What You’ll do
- Supports Head of Trade - Fresh on managing the commercial affairs of Fresh department
- Ensure relevant information is provided to facilitate supplier negotiations
- JBPs, Trading Terms
- Partner States / Channel and Trading teams with the preparation of Budgets, forecasts and KPIs
- Compile trend analysis and KPI variance assessments and commentary across Trading departments and Channels:

- Retail and Wholesale Sales performance
- Category / Channel Income performance (In lieu, deferred and state)
- Inventory management
- Direct market analysis
- Prepare supplier performance assessments.
- GM / commercial support where applicable
- When required, partner Trading terms department to audit/back claim missing income
- Support decision pricing support and investment
- Collectively support the broader National Commercial team as required.

What You’ll bring
- Accounting degree or similar
- Industry experience eg. FMCG, Retail or related
- Cross functional liaison and working with diverse groups and stakeholders.
- Working in a changing environment (consumer trends, technology, various data sets)
- Strong business partnering and influencing skills that build partnerships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Broad understanding of category management principles and processes
- Advanced excel, Power BI
- Strong financial modelling and system skills
- Ability to work with complex data and multiple system source points.
