**The company**:
Aurex Group’s client is an independent Australian property investment manager with excess of $1bn in assets under management. The firm was established with a strong focus on individual and family office investors, providing innovative and value-add strategies to support their investment goals. As the market evolved, so too did our client, now operating in the office, retail, industrial & logistics, social infrastructure, and private debt sectors.

It is a privately held group and structured countercyclical, well placed for the foreseeable future. They have been creating strategies surrounding their institutional funds and currently seeking to appoint a Fund Analyst to sit within the Funds Management team.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage and enhance the portfolio of existing investments; devise and execute investment strategies and assist in the day-to-day management of funds.
- Identify, evaluate, and execute new investments; assist with due diligence and preparation of investment reports and financial models.
- Prepare and maintain reports to Investors, committees, and the board; ad-hoc and monthly portfolio analysis.
- Assist in the development of marketing, capital raisings; engage with investors and industry bodies.
- Prepare coherent and accurate hold/sell analysis providing reliable accurate forecast investment returns on which key decisions can be made.

**Key Skills**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Property Economics, Finance, Business, or related discipline.
- 3-5 years’ experience in financial modelling for commercial real estate.
- Excellent ability to articulate and analyse data.
- Outstanding presentation and reporting skills.
- Strong critical thinking and business acumen, intellectual curiosity balanced with practical mindset, action-oriented and a good sense of urgency.
