**Company**:
Diversified property group which focuses on several sectors within the Australian property market. The group has grown the funds management side of its business significantly in recent years and has ambition to continue to grow the funds management platform.

**The Role**:
As the Fund Analyst you will directly support the Head of Property Funds and Group Management in the management of the Groups investment funds, including both direct (syndicate) funds and institutional funds.

The hands-on role will include transaction analysis, monitoring fund performance, investor reporting and assisting in the development of new product strategies.
- Assist the Fund Manager with the analysis, modelling and execution of acquisitions / disposals and capital raisings (debt & equity).
- Monitor fund performance through management of the fund model, NPI and cashflow forecasts.
- Preparation of internal and external stakeholder reporting on a portfolio or fund basis as required.
- Liaise with external consultants (such as legal and tax) in relation to ongoing fund compliance matters or ad hoc advice.
- Assisting in the development of new product strategies, including preparation of modelling, marketing collateral and due diligence materials

**The Person**:

- Tertiary qualification in business, property, finance, economics. Further qualifications relevant to financial services will be an advantage, CA or CFA.
- 3-5yrs experience ideally in finance or related experience within investment management or as a Fund Analyst.
- Proven skills in financial modelling and using Excel.
- Strong written, interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience in some of the following: valuation, investment analysis, presentation preparation, research, underwriting and co-ordination of due-diligence
