Principle Health Funding Analyst

**About the Role**: A fantastic opportunity exists for a talented and passionate Principal Health Funding Analyst to work across multiple locations within Metro South Health. We are searching for a Principal Health Funding Analyst who is committed to best practice and shares our purpose to deliver quality healthcare every day to our community.
**Your key responsibilities will include**:
- Leading the analysis of business, people and system requirements and provide advice on the Funding strategies.
- Providing expert epidemiological & statistical advice and/or clinical coding analysis of health-related data from internal and external sources.
- Providing expert advice on key clinical classification issues that impact on Activity Based Funding (ABF) and other areas including performance reporting and benchmarking initiatives related to coded data within a tertiary setting.
- Initiating, managing and participating in quality improvement activities and initiatives to optimise funding.
- Undertaking complex research and development projects associated with casemix classification and clinical data models.
