An exciting opportunity currently exists for an enthusiastic **Casual Billing Officer** to join our **Molecular Imaging and Therapy department.**

**Position duties include**:

- **Check and validate patient billing records, correcting data and following up with departments for correct information as required**
- **Ensure correct and timely billing of the services provided by the department**
- **Liaise with Finance Patient Billing department to ensure billing queries are handled and resolved quickly**
- **Assist with patient payment processes, including reconciliation of cash and EFTPOS payments against Patient Billing & Revenue Collection (PBRC) system**

**To be successful in this role you must demonstrate**:

- **High volume data entry and analysis skills in an accurate and time efficient manner**
- **Exceptional attention to detail**
- **Ability to prioritise importance of tasks**
- **Organisational and time management skills including the ability to understand the importance of meeting deadlines**
- **Keyboard and data entry skills**
- **Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, with high emphasis on excel use and excellent general IT skills**
- **Ability to problem solve and ‘think on your feet’ in a variety of situations**
