**A bit about the role**
Are you ready to be a key player in shaping the future of one of Australia’s most vibrant and rapidly growing cities? As a **Project Administration Officer** within the City Life Directorate, you’ll be at the forefront of providing high-quality customer service and administrative support across our Community Support, Libraries & Community Centres, Community Strengthening & Inclusion, Office of the Director City Life, and Sport & Recreation Departments. Your contributions will be crucial in driving the success of major community projects.
In this dynamic role, you’ll be the heartbeat of our projects - coordinating meetings with precision, keeping everything on track, and crafting impactful reports. You’ll be the go-to person for stakeholders, ensuring smooth communication and seamless execution, all while expertly managing correspondence, scheduling, and inquiries.
As a casual member of our City Life team, you’ll enjoy flexibility with your work schedule, receiving advance notice of your rostered days whenever possible. Rosters are thoughtfully created to match leave schedules, workloads, and peak demand times, so you’re always stepping in right when your expertise is needed most.
This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in your community by providing essential administrative support that advances priority projects, all while ensuring compliance with our regulatory and operational standards.
**What you will deliver**
- Seamlessly coordinate project meetings, from preparing agendas to ensuring follow-up actions are complete.
- Keep our project documentation sharp and organised, making sure everything is up-to-date and easily accessible.
- Prepare impactful reports and presentations that communicate project progress and outcomes.
- Act as the bridge between stakeholders, keeping everyone aligned and informed.
- Provide administration support that keeps the City Life Directorate running efficiently.
**What you will bring**
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role and/or relevant qualifications in administration.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively collaborate with a diverse range of people.
- Proficiency in information technology, including knowledge of contemporary and emerging Social Media technologies and platforms.
- A proactive, can-do attitude with an eye for detail and a passion for making a difference in the community.
