UGL Unipart Rail Services Pty Ltd (UGL Unipart) was founded in December 2011 as a Joint Venture between UGL (Australia) and Unipart Rail (UK). UGL Unipart operates a Rail Maintenance Facility at Auburn where it maintains rolling stock for Sydney Trains, Transport for New South Wales and other rail operators.
**About your role**
UGL Unipart is looking for an experienced
**Procurement Administrator** to join the team on a 9-month fixed term contract, based at our rolling stock maintenance facility in Auburn, Sydney.
Reporting to the Senior Buyer, the role of Procurement Administrator supports the core functions and processes of the Procurement team. This role includes raising purchase orders, stock transfer orders, updating records, respond and action customer inquiries.
**Other key responsibilities will include:
- Identify and report cost saving initiatives and implementation
- Support the management of non-conformance process
- Vendor invoice management: returns, credit notes and follow up on POD’s
- Attend meetings with suppliers, customers, and internal stakeholders
- Contribute to the implementation of process improvements
**About you**
- Knowledge and practical experience of process management and materials and/or production management
- Demonstrated knowledge of stock control, inventory and warranty systems and processes preferred
- Strong communication skills (oral & written) including strong negotiation and influencing skills and the ability to establish effective working relationships with a variety of people at different levels both internally and externally
- Ability to work independently to organise and prioritise demands, handle multiple complex tasks simultaneously, set and meet deadlines and follow-through within a fast-paced environment with multiple and competing demands
