About the role*

As Technical Consultant, you provide technical consulting for Objective Connect solutions and are responsible for all technical aspects of Connect Link implementations and upgrades, as well as driving migration to the new cloud-based platform. You will cover product installation, configuration, integration, customization, data migration and troubleshooting. This Technical Consulting role touches on Customer Success, IT Operations, CloudOps, Support and even a touch of Sales. This is a perfect opportunity for a consultant to expand their skillset into other functions.

What your day looks like*
- Project Delivery. Responsible for on time, within estimate, delivery of all assigned technical tasks on a project.
- Integrating our cloud collaboration platform to document management systems such as Micro Focus Content Management (TRIM), SharePoint, Objective ECM Product Installation.
- Responsible for successful installation, and testing of the Connect Link software within the customer environment, per the specified configuration and quality criteria,
- Drive customer migration from On-Prem ConnectLink Software to Hosted Platform ConnectLink, including collaborating with customers to deliver infrastructure changes.
- Ad-Hoc Support. Provide onsite consulting services on an ad-hoc basis to assist customers with the ongoing maintenance and continued improvement of their solution. Services will include maintenance, problem resolution, health checks, tuning and customization.
- Work closely with the customer success team, development team and the development manager
- Customer Relationship. Assume technical support ownership of the designated customer set and foster a
- customer technical contacts to broker a positive and effective partnership between the two organisations.

**What we are looking for**
- 2 years in a technical consulting or enterprise support role
- Degree qualified in an Information Technology discipline
- High degree of professionalism and autonomy
- Knowledge and experience with Relational Database Management Systems such as Oracle or SQL Server.
- Integration experience including Web Services (SOAP, REST, XML, JSON)
- Applied experience in cloud technologies (AWS or Azure)
- Preferred Programming experience (C/C++, JAVA,.net)
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Customer Focus
