Sydney, Australia Aptitude Software Full time

As a Principal Technical Consultant, you may be asked to support either Delivery or Assure services for clients. You may have project responsibilities for configuring Aptitude Software’s (‘Aptitude’) products or you may be responsible for providing high-quality support of clients’ configured production solutions.

You will possess excellent domain knowledge and will assume project responsibility for the technical configuration of Aptitude Software (‘Aptitude’) products and take ownership of components in the solution design. Critical to the success of your role will be your excellent client communication and management skills. As and when required you will be willing and able to deputise for the Senior Principal on a client project.

The role requires that your decision-making process considers risk and the commercial relationships between Aptitude and its clients, consistently striving to deliver value to all parties. You may be required to run workshops in the Scope & Analysis phases to help develop a shared vision of the end-state solution with clients.

You will liaise with Aptitude’s product development teams to inform them when clients’ requirements cannot be met by the product and work to close those gaps.

As a Principal Consultant you will help to establish best practices to be followed by your team to ensure that our delivery is fit for purpose. You will actively engage with the Product Innovation team and other project teams to share knowledge, best practices and lessons learned.

You will be expected to further your own professional development (keeping yourself updated with relevant knowledge and skills) and mentor other consultants. You will contribute to the evolving company culture and always ensure that you are motivating the teams, celebrating milestones, and ensuring that you contribute towards internal communications, taking your stories and successes out to the wider Aptitude community.

The role may be performed on client premises and travel (in-country and/or overseas) may be required of you.
