**About The Team**:
Marketing powers one of Australia’s biggest brands. Our team connects us with millions of Aussies each week. Whether it’s through engaging content, omnichannel storytelling or thunderclap advertising that reaches 98% of Aussies, we connect in many ways.

A rare opportunity as Head of Marketing has arisen with our Fresh Business Unit (BU). As the voice of the customer for this BU, you’ll define our marketing strategy and re-set the way we communicate our Fresh offer. This role is a key strategic interface with the COE Marketing team; ensuring that together we bring incredible customer moments to life in an impactful way.

**What you’ll be doing**:
Reporting to the General Manager, you’ll be empowered to identify current and future customer needs; then develop and implement a plan that delivers against those.

**You’ll also**:

- Deliver key marketing platforms and activity for the BU: planning, messaging, markcomms
- Lead the integration of Fresh plans into the Coles Customer and Trade Calendar
- Participate in strategic supplier negotiations to deliver a benefit to Coles customers
- Drive improvements that deliver customer value, earn lifetime loyalty, and maximise return for Coles
- Provide ongoing coaching, and drive opportunities for your direct reports to develop.

**Good things you’ll need**:
We’re after proven senior customer centric Marketer who can work hand in glove with a COE; network, influence at all levels of seniority, and bring things to life in an impactful way. Coming from a large and complex environment, you have worked in a matrix organisation and bring great energy, resilience, and a level-head.

- Experience in the development and implementation of marketing strategy, end to end
- Experience in setting and executing business strategy
- A proven 'big picture' mindset
- Demonstrated entrepreneurialism and innovation
- Strong leadership experience with a passion for leading high performing teams
- Strong prioritisation skills
- Agility and pace.
