**About the role**:
A rich opportunity as Category Marketing Manager has arisen within our Grocery Business Unit (BU) the largest at Coles including impulse, beverages, breakfast, and pantry.

As the voice of the customer, this role is a key interface with the Central Marketing team, ensuring that together we bring incredible customer moments to life that build trust and drive trade.

This is the perfect opportunity for high-achieving specialist ready for a step up - or a Marketing Manager wanting to build commercial experience.

**What you’ll be doing**:
Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will work cross-functionally with Merchandise, Supply Chain, Suppliers, Operations and Marketing teams to develop and deliver customer centric marketing campaigns and initiatives.

**You’ll also**:

- Build and manage the Grocery Customer Calendar.
- Lead the development and implementation of marketing initiatives and campaigns.
- Identify opportunities, develop solutions, and improve customer experience across the Grocery customer omnichannel experience.
- Advocate and support the BU Own Brand strategy and key supplier trade plans.
- Build strong relationships and use your influencing skills to drive the marketing strategy.

**About you and your skills**:
We’re after an experienced customer centric Marketer who can lead cross-functional teams to bring things to life in an impactful way.
Coming from a Retail or FMCG marketing background, you are known for your planning focus, attention to detail, and ability to drive results across an organisation whilst working with ambiguity.

**You’ll also need**:

- Proven experience developing and implementing marketing strategy and campaign management
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and influencing skills.
- Passion, resilience, agility, and pace
- Extra Brownie points if you have eCommerce/ Digital knowledge
