About the opportunity

We are seeking a passionate and motivated administrative officer to join the Patient Services Team in Ward C3, Surgical Ward who understand the importance of high quality admin support and person centred care in a dynamic environment. This role is responsible for the efficient operation of the administrative and reception duties in the areas. You are required to provide support to other team members and actively participate in key activities of Werribee Mercy Hospital.

- Monday to Friday - afternoon shifts - 4.00pm to 8.00pm
- HS1 classification

To thrive in this role, you will have:
- Experience working in a customer facing, fast paced and dynamic environment (essential)- Experience working in a hospital (desirable)- Strong person centred focus and excellent conflict resolution skills- Experience with iPM or similar patient management systems (desirable)- Demonstrated administrative and, Microsoft Office skills.- A motivated and “can-do” attitude with the ability to learn quickly and go the extra mile

You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:
- A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.- Current COVID-19 certificate, proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
