Business Support Officer

**Key duties**:
- Establish and maintain professional networks with internal and external stakeholders to help ensure consistent and high quality services of the HR team.
- Undertake general administrative, human resource and financial processing activities as required, including the purchase of goods and services, reconciliation of corporate card transactions, processing travel claims, records management and general correspondence.
- Manage a variety of concurrent procurement projects (and other business-related projects) by exercising a high degree of judgement, in order to meet operational and/or business deadlines.
- Coordinate, prepare and review correspondence, reports, ministerial responses and briefing notes utilising departmental databases and systems such as MECS, SAP and Aurion.
- Participate as an effective member of a team and provide support to other team members and management to ensure human resources and financial (including budget and procurement) priorities are met.
- Prepare regular financial reporting including data entry and maintenance processes in relation to the Human Resources budget, undertake establishment data cleansing processes, maintain registers, organisational charts and business plan documentation on behalf of the HR team.
- Undertake research and develop proposals in relation to adhoc projects and initiatives at the direction of the Chief HR Officer.
