**About the Role**

Our Bentleigh East team is currently seeking a Portable Fire Technician to join our service team to look after our client base in Melbourne and the surrounding region.

Your primary duties will include:

- Maintenance and repair of portable fire protection equipment to Australian Standards
- Routine testing in accordance with Australian Standards to fire protection equipment
- Liaising with customers, promoting a professional and friendly relationship
- Ensuring compliance to Environmental Health and Safety requirements
- Completing service records using smart device technology

To be considered for this role, ideally you will need to have:

- Fire industry experience would be highly regarded
- VBA licenced in fire hose reels and unpumped hydrants preferred however is not essential as training can be provided
- Current Driver’s Licence
- Strong focus and commitment to workplace safety
- Excellent customer service and time management
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Good personal presentation
- Willingness to multi-skill into other areas of fire protection
- Good computer/smart device technology skills
