The roleYou will be responsible for providing executive and administrative support to program and senior management for technical assurance support across the delivery of health capital infrastructure. You will ensure projects and activities are managed in accordance with Queensland Health approved project management methodologies. The role will incorporate oversight of diary scheduling and management, including booking of meeting facilities, equipment, and catering. You will also assist the Senior Directors in managing reports, correspondence, and analysis of financial information, as well as preparing submissions and briefing notes to inform program decision making. As a Project Officer within HCD you will liaise with key stakeholders and work collaboratively with other team members to ensure effective governance and compliance. You will also maintain innovative business improvement and efficiencies for the unit including correspondence methodologies, workflow management and electronic records management.
The successful personTo be successful in the role, you will be an organised individual with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high quality outcomes. Working both autonomously and as part of a team environment you will be able to prepare, monitor, and report on program/project budgets, understanding the pressures and constraints. You will exercise initiative in identifying and analysing problems, as well as develop, and implement effective solutions. Your communication and interpersonal skills will be critical to building and maintaining business relationships in a complex and changing environment. Whilst not mandatory, a relevant qualification and experience working in an executive support environment will be highly regarded. You may be required to travel to different locations depending on project and team requirements.
