An exciting opportunity has become available for a high performing individual to join the Engineering & Technology branch of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) in the role of Project Officer. **The purpose of the role Project Officer is to**:

- Provide accurate and effective business specific administrative support services relating to Financial Management, Procurement, Human Resources, Technical Publications, Project Management, Document Management and other functions as required.
- Provide a range of project or business support activities and tasks including preparing graphs and statistics, developing, and maintaining databases, producing, or updating project reports and updating the records on systems.
- Draft correspondence, meeting minutes, reports, submissions, or briefing notes of medium complexity, in accordance with departmental standards. Maintain executive correspondence requests in DocTrak ensuring accurate, timely and relevant information is provided.
- Support the Senior Advisor (Office of the Deputy Chief Engineer, Strategic Technical & Relationship Initiatives Directorate) (STRI) delivering elements of identified projects which contribute to the continuous improvement of standard operating procedures to ensure consistency across Engineering & Technology and its administrative functions.
