**Your new company**
This government department is responsible for achieving the Government’s priorities for population health, primary health care, mental health, indigenous health and community participation in sport and recreation. They administer programs to meet the Government’s objectives in health infrastructure, regulation, safety and quality, health workforce, acute care, dental care, biosecurity and emergency response. They support the Australian community’s access to affordable private health services and is responsible for policy on Medicare and the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme.

**Your new role**
- Drive the development, maintenance and oversight of processes, templates and documentation for pre-award granting activities
- Assist in quality control of all Branch pre-award submissions prior to CEO clearance
- Being responsible for maintenance of TRIM records for approved submissions
- Be involved in support and training to Branch on pre-award granting activities/business processes and policies; development of SOPs, guidance, flow charts, checklists, tip sheets etc
- Assist in Branch pre-award grant opportunity tracking; liaising regularly across Branch to monitor work progress and co-ordinate with CEO to ensure timely clearance of grant documentation
- Support the team by providing secretariat support for regular forums (minutes, actions registers, meeting prep, risk and issues register):

- NHMRC and BGH fortnightly meetings
- NHMRC and BGH quarterly meetings
- Program Assurance Group
- Research Funders Forum
- Assistance with input requests for external stakeholders and Minister’s Office as required

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Written and oral communication skills
- Demonstrated experience working in the Federal Government
- You must be an Australian Citizen and will possess or be willing to go through the process to obtain and maintain a (Baseline, NV1 or NV2) personnel security clearance.
