One of Hudson's key Government clients is looking for an experienced, high performing APS6 Senior Policy Officer.

We are recruiting a **Senior Policy Officer** to support a high-performing team on several key policy projects.

In this role, you'll engage with internal and external stakeholders, organise meetings and draft critical briefings for senior executives and the Minister. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone eager to broaden their experience in the telecommunications industry and gain insights into the issues impacting regional Australia.

To be successful for shortlisting, you must have:

- Policy/program experience within federal government
- Well-developed writing skills with the ability to draft a range of documentation including input into briefing and ministerial correspondence
- Strong organisation skills including good time management and an ability to balance competing priorities
- Highly developed communication skills with the ability to build relationships and liaise with a broad range of stakeholders.
- Abillity to work independently and taking initiative to manage own work flows
