**Your new company**
Located in central Canberra, this large Government department has a heavy focus on developing policies and procedures to enhance world class research, policies and procedures in our nation.

**Your new role**
In your new role as an APS6 Policy / Program officer the duties involves:

- Analysing and monitoring trends and ACT Ombudsman complaints to contribute to meeting briefs, submissions, issues of interest and reports. Includes undertaking liaison with the branch responsible for processing complaints
- Helping to build community and agency engagement and representing the office to external stakeholders, including ACT agencies, ACT oversight bodies and community stakeholders
- Contributing to strategic support for the Senior Executive, including coordinating and preparing briefing for appearances before Legislative Assembly Committees and high-level stakeholder meetings.

**What you'll need to succeed**

You must be an Australian Citizen and possess or be willing to go through the process to obtain and maintain a baseline personnel security clearance.

**What you'll get in return**
This is a 12 month non ongoing with a possible permanent vacancy.
