**The Role**

Reporting to the Senior Accountant, this role will see you take ownership for the accounts payable function, whilst learning to take on more of an analysis role by helping turn their sales data into actionable insights and reporting.

Your role will span over 2 main areas: working with the finance team to manage all account payable and learn how to analyse excel data sets and create detailed reporting and recommendations for cost centres, expenses, market trends.

**Job Requirements**
- Take ownership of all the Accounts Payable ensuring all suppliers are paid in accordance with the agreed terms of business.
- Input and process supplier invoices and prepayments to maintain the accounts payable subledger
- Conduct creditor account reconciliation
- Foster positive relationships with suppliers
- Process expense claims and report expenses
- Manage credit card entries for expense reports
- Ensure accurate reporting and record-keeping for customer rebate payables
- Prepare weekly vendor payment files and communicate cash requirements to finance team for review and upload to bank
- Establish and maintain vendor master data, including contacts and bank details
- Learn to analyse large sets of data to extract insights, monitor, evaluate and review the ROI on the performance of sales and marketing initiatives as needed, and provide recommendations for improvement based on data insights.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest tools and techniques for data analysis and visualisation, and recommend new technologies that could improve analysis processes.

**Required Skills & Experience**
- Certification in a relevant field including accounting or financial analysis
- 2-3 years of experience in accounts payable with an interest in moving into Financial Analysis
- Proven ability to build strong relationships with cross-functional teams to gather data, analyse data requirements and deliver insights to stakeholders
- Able to work collaboratively with other teams and stakeholders, while also being able to work independently to develop and execute analysis projects.
