**Your new company is an esteemed organisation with a very reputable name. The Finance team is looking to hire a temporary Accounts clerk for a leave cover.**

**Your new role will include but will not be limited to**:

- Timely payment of supplier accounts
- Prompt payment of organization petty cash reimbursements
- Prompt payment of urgent “non Creditor” expenditures
- All data entry/computer processing of accounts payable transactions
- Reconciliation of supplier/creditor accounts and any other reconciliation relevant to the Accounts Payable job function
- Handle Communication/Correspondence with suppliers/staff incidental to performing the role efficiently
- Timely banking of monies received within Head Office
- Accurate processing of payments received into the accounting system
- Regular review of bank statements to ensure amounts received directly into the bank accounts are processed into the accounting system
- Handle Communication/Correspondence with debtors incidental to performing the role efficiently including making contact with debtors in order to seek outstanding payment of amounts
- Reconciliation of debtor accounts
- Prepare schedules which may be required relating to outstanding debts

**What you'll need to succeed**
A similar experience in an Accounts payable or Accounts all-rounder position is highly needed. Knowledge of Tech one is preferable but not essential.
