About us
Enforcement and Support Services (ESS) sits within Fines and Enforcement Services (FES), a business unit within the Police, Fines and Crime Prevention group of the Department of Justice and Community Safety. ESS is responsible for the collection and enforcement of fines in Victoria.
About the role
The Manager, Debt Program focuses on strategy, policy and process changes to enable FES to meet its legislative and operational objectives. The role will focus on improving debt management, debt recovery and data integrity for both new and aged debt portfolios.

**In this role, you will**:

- undertake strategic and operational activities designed to improve debt collection and management
- be responsible for the development, management and implementation of a range of high level and complex strategic and operational projects
- work in collaboration with others to deliver strategic priorities associated with debt management
- be responsible for the performance and development of staff members.

About you
- significant expertise managing a high-volume debt collection operation
- significant expertise in the development, implementation and evaluation of projects and strategies for creating business improvements, with a focus on debt management
- strong people management skills, with the ability to create an organisational culture that enables others to perform at their best and achieve outcomes for the organisation
- outstanding problem solving skills, with the ability work across government and at senior levels to develop and deliver sustainable solutions.

How to apply

**IMPORTANT INFORMATION**:

Therefore, there is a requirement that all DJCS employees be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 in order to undertake duties outside of their homes.
At interview stage and prior to commencement of employment with the department, you will need to provide evidence that you are vaccinated against COVID-19 with three doses of a COVID-19 vaccine.
Upon commencement of employment with the department you will be required to provide evidence that you have an up-to-date vaccination status within the timelines specified by the department into the DJCS Service Portal. This includes evidence of three doses of a COVID-19 vaccine required by the department (from time to time).

- Your immunisation history statement (available via your myGov account)

Other documentation outside the above will not be accepted as evidence of having received your COVID-19 vaccine doses.
