**THE ROLE**
As our Business Development Representative, you will follow up with new and existing opportunities/clients to establish qualified leads for the APS Sale Team to progress to closure.

Ideally, you come from a background in Construction, Mechanical, Hydraulic (Plumbing) or Industrial Consulting / Sales and feel like it is time for a change.

Or maybe you have an engineering or trades background and looking to try something new

Above all, you will be an engaging and motivated team player who enjoys the thrill of being an instrumental part in securing and delivering successful design and construction projects.

**To be seriously considered, the requirements are**:

- Have unrestricted Australian working rights as sponsorship is not offered for this role. (No temporary visas, unfortunately)
- Ability to pick up the phone and have an engaging and constructive discussion with existing clients and warm leads around the services and solutions offered, understanding the client's/prospects' needs and requirements of the project at hand.
- Understanding the Compressed Air, Oil/Lubrication or Welding Gases sectors would be essential.
- The ability to comfortably work within structured telemarketing campaigns while setting up on-site or "virtual" appointments for the National Sales Manager.
- Strategising every opportunity to ensure the best outcome for both the business and the customer.
- The tenacity to deliver on personal and company goals and be accountable for their achievement.
- Ability to understand contracts and pricing proposals.
- Ability to negotiate and manage diary arrangements with clients.
- Customer service-focused and strong interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable using a contemporary CRM platform
