This NSW Government agency is a major service provider who strives to deliver a more consistent and efficient experience within government. This government agency uses data and behavioural insights to drive improvements with government and providing services to NSW. We are looking for someone to start ASAP for a 12-month contract paying up to $1100/ Day + Super. This role is located in Sydney CBD/ WFH

**About the Role**
We are currently seeking to appoint a Technical Manager with a leading NSW Government agency. The Technical Manager will be a key component in assisting the assurance of architectural and technical documentation. This role will lead the provision of technical design that manages static data for the new digital system implementation. Key accountabilities include:

- Provide technical support to the project teams in respect of design and development of the static data solution.
- Co-ordinate technical discussions with other project team members, including commercial and legal, communications to ensure commercial alignment.
- Collaborate with programmers, engineers, and organisational leaders to identify opportunities for process improvements, recommend system modifications, and develop policies for data governance.
- Contribute to ensuring the security, integrity, quality and availability of all forms of data and data structures that make up the current data sets

**About You**
- Experience in managing multiple teams and managing other Team Leads
- Experience in designing, building, and maintaining complex systems. This role will involve collaborating with technical experts to assess the decisions.
- Technical experience in GIS systems
- Proven ability to lead technical discussions with other project team members to ensure business needs are aligned and met.
