**The Role**

The ICT Infrastructure Manager coordinates the design, build, security, uplift, and maintenance of technology enabling Infrastructure. This includes compute, storage, hosting, networks & cloud services.

The ICT Infrastructure Manager will also oversee several key functions that enable the delivery of high-quality support to end-users and the broader ICT team. This position is a stakeholder facing role and requires effective stakeholder management and change management to be successful.

The ICT Infrastructure Manager ensures high levels of system performance and reliability. This role involves strategic planning, project management, and coordination with various IT teams to support the organisation's operational needs

Key Accountabilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Technology Infrastructure (On-Premises & Cloud, Network and Data Centre).
- Monitor and report on performance, capacity, scalability, and security.
- Network Management - Monitor and manage the company's data networks to ensure connectivity, performance, and security, including LAN, WAN, and internet connections.
- Vendor Management - Manage Infrastructure support providers and consultants to ensure they are delivering on contractual obligations and are being used efficiently to provide proactive services and remediation.
- Develop and maintain architecture documentation related to Infrastructure and Network design. Where this is a contractual responsibility of service providers ensuring they are maintaining this documentation regularly.
- Business Planning - Aligning technology Infrastructure planning to BG&E's strategic goals and the ICT operational plans and budgets. Contributing to the annual budget process.
- Developing the cloud migration strategy, operational plan, and timelines.
- Deploy and support solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform.
- Lead the transition of Managed Services and support from an on-premises model to a supported cloud environment.
- Capacity planning of server and storage environments and replacement planning for all Infrastructure that can be integrated into the annual budgeting cycle.
- Infrastructure patch management strategy and execution.
- Microsoft 365 and Azure Administration and Engineering, Azure AD/Entra ID.
- Microsoft Intune/ Endpoint management software packaging and deployment.
- Supporting Cyber Security projects, and the implementation of technical and physical controls.
- Assist in responding and remediating any Severity 1 ICT issues affecting all or part of the organisation and any Critical security incidents.
- Maintaining all technical documentation and knowledge base articles.
- Ensure data backup and disaster recovery processes are in place, tested and effective.

**About You**
- Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Information Systems, Project Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3+ years in a team lead or manager capacity.
- Proven ability to think strategically and develop and implement technology strategies to support business objectives.
- Knowledge and experience in cyber security governance and incident management.
- Experience in change management processes and effective stakeholder management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and develop practical solutions.
- Understanding of IT Architecture principles (e.g.: TOGAF)
- Azure Fundamentals certification (mandatory).
- Azure Solutions Architect certification (preferred).
- Experience across a range of complex solutions and project environments.
- Knowledge of security best practices for secure implementations.
- Efficient time management.
- Excellent verbal & written communications skills.

Senior Level Experience in:

- Building, configuring, and deploying Server and Storage infrastructure and Windows Server Operating Systems.
- Administering and deploying solutions on the Microsoft Azure environment
- Microsoft 365 Administration
- Microsoft Entra ID, Entra ID Governance, Domain Services & Group Policies.
