**About the role**
Reporting to the Associate Director Strategic Business Initiatives, the Manager Strategic Business Initiatives will lead and inspire a team of professionals who work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to develop and prioritise capital investment and start-up projects within the various faculties across the University. The appointee will provide insights and sound judgement and strategically plan, coordinate and execute key initiatives. Critical to the role’s success will be the effective delivery of financial and commercial advice to senior leadership based on thorough research and analysis of business initiatives.

**About you**
You will have ideally commenced your career in Big 4, a leading consulting firm or an investment bank before transitioning to a corporate or start up environment. You have exceptional financial modelling, business case development and analytical skills to prepare and interpret robust feasibility studies and scenarios. You have a demonstrated ability to communicate and synthesize complex data succinctly with agility and poise to a range of audiences. Adept at managing competing priorities and ability to communicate with clarity and direction to your stakeholders in ambiguous circumstances, you pursue a continuous improvement and result driven agenda. Presenting with intelligence and credibility, you are a highly effective leader and your natural influencing style allows you to engage cross functionally across the broader organisation.
