We are seeking an experienced Manager, Initiatives and Insight that will play a pivotal role in supporting Divisional Planning activity across the BPC
- The Manager, Initiatives and Insight operationalises key aspects of BPC's strategic plan within the Office of the State Building Surveyor (OSBS) and taking the lead on overall design and delivery of strategic frameworks to enable improvements to regulatory oversight, practice and support overall improvements to statutory objectives and expansion of functions within the Office.

**To be successful in this position, you will need to demonstrate**:

- Extensive experience in managing complex end-to-end projects of strategic importance including the delivery of complex projects within tight timeframes and budget.
- Demonstrated ability to prepare plans that are aligned with the organisation's strategic vision and confidently present information to a wide range of audiences, from everyday teams to Leadership and Industry heads.
- Proven operational experience in a regulatory environment, including an aptitude for policy and legislative interpretation and strategic insight.
- Ability to confidently conveys ideas and information in a clear and interesting way; clearly understands the target audience and the objectives of the communication; uses audience feedback to refine communication and ensure communications are understood; handles difficult and sensitive communications well.

**About the BPC**
- The Building & Plumbing Commission (BPC) is Victoria's new regulator for building and plumbing. It brings together the Victorian Building Authority (VBA), Domestic Building Dispute Resolution Victoria (DBDRV), and the domestic building insurance function of the Victorian Managed Insurance Authority (VMIA) into one organisation. Key functions related to building and plumbing regulation will come together under one roof, including registration, inspection and compliance, practitioner discipline, dispute resolution, and domestic building insurance. These services will now part of the BPC and will be fully integrated over the next 12 months.
