About The Role
In Everyday Banking Portfolio, we serve ~6 million ANZ customers as they save, transact, pay for things, and protect their finances. All our Everyday Banking products and services play an equally important role in improving the financial wellbeing of our customers.
As the Initiative Lead, your role is responsible for leading the delivery of large-scale Digital initiatives to support the Everyday Banking Strategy, coordinating across various portfolios and stakeholders including Digital, Technology, Customer Engagement and Everyday Banking Portfolio. The Initiative Lead will manage the timing and scope of work across tribes, managing interdependencies between the Tribes, squads and/or other parties (e.g. other teams in ANZ, third party providers) whilst successfully delivering the program of work and ensure that benefits are realised as planned. The Initiative Lead will also be responsible for establishing a robust project delivery governance and operating rhythm with key delivery partners to proactively resolve challenges/blockers/issues and deliver at pace.

What will your day look like?
**As an Initiative Lead, you are accountable for**:
Lead the Everyday Banking program of work including developing plans covering objectives, scope, timelines, managing budget and benefits tracking/realisation
Lead and manage the initiative ‘backlog’ to determine feasibility, value and retain visibility of delivery within key contributing squads
Lead the coordination across the various tribes that are critical to the delivery of the initiative
Working closely with the EDB Portfolio delivery teams, Digital squads, senior stakeholders, Tribe Performance Leads and Product Owners to manage the strategic delivery dependencies across business and technology streams.
Understand and plan for interdependencies across tribes and squads removing roadblocks to ensure mínimal disruption to the squads’ ability to complete their work
Influence timely decision-making to ensure squads are enabled to deliver as effectively as possible
Find the best path for delivery that manages requirements, investment, and benefits realisation
Collaborate closely with senior leaders, sponsors, and relevant stakeholders to ensure buy-in and alignment with initiative goals.
Establish and maintain open communication channels to keep stakeholders informed.
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

- Previous experience in leading, scoping and developing plans for large/complex/strategic pieces of work, ensuring delivery of objectives and customer outcomes
Previous experience with delivery of complex programs of work that include multiple domains, systems and squads
Solid Project Management / Delivery Lead experience in a large organisation
Experience in executing business change including key stakeholder management along the journey
Proven analytical skills and data-driven decision making
Developed mechanisms to track performance and value realisation on investment
Ability to quickly gather information on the progress of work and communicate this to key stakeholders
Identify, monitor and manage risks, issues and dependencies, agreeing appropriate risk responses
Navigated a path and bring others on the journey in complex and ambiguous environments
Successfully built a network of strong relationships and influenced key stakeholders, working collaboratively across teams
